About Us

Sit with me, sis, and let me tell you how Ebony Wholistic Healing evolved from a simple dream into a growing wellness practice—rooted in the power of Black, African, and Caribbean (BAC) women just like you.

Ebony’s story is bigger than you or me, or any one person. You see, Ebony has always been about us—our collective healing, our growth, our resilience, our strength. It’s about the magic we create when we come together, standing in our truth, lifting each other up, and daring to reimagine what wellness means to us as racialized women.

Although founded in Toronto, Canada in 2023, our vision isn’t just local—it’s global. The awakening we’re leading, the narratives we’re reclaiming, they guide us forward like an unstoppable river—powerful, undeniable, and overflowing with purpose.

Through group and one-on-one coaching, workshops, and sister circles, we are not just building a community; we are creating a village, a tribe, a transformative wellness space where BAC women can reconnect with their inner she-ro, where healing is not just a hope or hype but a lived reality.

Now, imagine a world where every BAC woman has found her way back to herself—where she walks in the truth of her power. That world is not just a possibility; it is a promise. And as we continue to nurture this community, its impact will ripple across generations, strengthening the very foundation of our sisterhood.

Ebony is more than wellness. It is hope. It is our stories, our resilience, our collective triumph, told by us, for us. Together, we are planting deep roots—unshakable, unwavering—so that no force can erase the essence of who we are.

And wherever you are on your journey, know this: Ebony is here for you, with you. Now is the time to step into the Ebony experience. Now is the time for your healing to begin.

About Our Founder

Before you become part of our tribe, you may be thinking “now I know Ebony’s story”, but you may be wondering who I am, what’s my story.

I’m Coach C.C., also known as “Empress C.C.” and “the Harriet Tubman of Coaching.” My passion lies in creating transformative spaces for Black, African, and Caribbean women to reconnect with their inner she-ro—the soft yet powerful part of themselves that’s often forgotten, but never truly lost.

My journey began in healthcare. First, as a certified Intra-oral Dental Assistant and later as a cardiac inpatient Unit Coordinator at one of Canada’s leading hospitals. But after years in that role, workplace trauma forced me to make a choice: stay and endure or choose myself.

I chose me.

Leaving that toxic environment was one of the hardest but most empowering things I have ever done. Prioritizing my mental health led me on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and renewed strength and purpose. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I turned to meditation, pursued a BSc in Healthcare Management, and transitioned from traditional sick-care to (w)holistic wellness.

In 2023, driven by the post-pandemic mental health crisis and a calling to serve, I founded BWell International, a space for Black wellness professionals exploring new paths in healing. As a certified Meditation Practitioner, trauma-informed Mental Health Coach, and wellness advocate, I integrate meditation/breathwork, mindfulness, and Africentric healing to create safe, nurturing spaces for transformation.

I envision a future where Black women stand boldly in their truth, embodying the spirit of Ubuntu—“I am because we are.” A future where self-care is a right, not a luxury, where healing is both personal and collective, and where each woman stands in her power with confidence, unapologetically embracing who she is and who she chooses to become.

Ubuntu,
Coach C.C.
